Driving Directions:
The retreat center is located off San Antonio River Road, approximately 20 miles South from Victoria. Take Hwy. 77 South toward Refugio. You will see a green sign pointing to the right saying Spiritual Renewal Center. Turn here. This short road comes to a T; turn left. You will be on San Antonio River Road; follow this for approximately 3 miles.

You will see a wooden sign for the center, turn left and approach slowly along the gravel road for one and a half miles. Park on the marked paved area. Someone will help you unload.

Each year we look forward the fun and fellowship of sewing retreats. There are two or three retreats each year organized by members who graciously collect the fees, make reservations and accept the responsibility for arrangments with the facility. Attendees may sign up for the retreat with the understanding that the guild takes no responsibility for costs nor makes any profit. The event organizer commits extra time to preselect menus; if you have special dietary needs, please let her know in advance. Sign up for a retreat at the guild meeting. Costs include 7 meals, room, and ample sewing space. All money is due before the retreat. All money is paid to "Spirtual Renewal Center".

We suggest arriving in the mid-morning of the first day. We depart after lunch on the third day. Bring enough materials and projects to work on; we will be a long way from any shopping. An extension cord, six plex plug pad, your machine, foot controller, rotary tools, basic sewing tools, flashlight for evening walks, and a cell phone are some things you might include. The center supplies linens and towels. Bring personal items like hair dryer, shampoo, medicines, and alarm clock. There is no cable in the rooms. Bring a sweater and warm blanket for air conditioned rooms. Dress is casual.
