Community Service Info for
This year we will continue to work on quilts and pillowcases for Joseph's Warriors. Kathy Kelley is our community service chair and will be bringing kits to the meetings and coordinating the effort. We can't say enough good things about this wonderful organization and one of the founders, Winnie Fleming, has visited our guid on many occasions.

Quilts for foster children graduating from high school
We are adding this project to our community service this year, making quilts for 2024. So there is plenty of time to raid your stash and find a pattern. Below is a flyer from this organization (Day 1 Bags) although it refers to the program for 2023. We'll update with a 2024 flyer when it is available. We would like to complete 25 quilts for the 2024 project along with a matching pillow case. You may also be interested in making a zipper pouch if you don't want to do a full quilt. If you would like to sign up, contact Kathy Kelley or Penny Swan.
You can view quilts made by guild members for 2023 graduating seniors below.
